Bloody Candy is excited to announce their next partnership with up-and-coming artist De La Cruz as they get ready to release eight to ten singles over the next few months.
22-year-old Christian artist De La Cruz is from Lawrence, Massachusetts and started his career at the age of 16, pursuing fame and the lights the rapper lifestyle advertises. His “dream” changed after an encounter with Jesus. He quickly realized that his gift of music was to be used to help lead people to a genuine relationship with God in an artistic way.
The first single, Commando, dropped March 1, 2024 and is produced by Jlane.
“The peace I feel about this partnership lets me know God has big things in store for us this year. It just makes sense.” - De La Cruz
Bloody Candy founder Kyle Hamrick Sr. saw the growth with De La Cruz and knew the partnership would continue the upward trajectory of the artist.
Hamrick explained, “I’ve seen De La Cruz continue to grow with hit after hit. From the outside looking in, it seems effortless. His recent EP and other collabs with Not Klyde and Ty Brasel have set a great launchpad for this year. This level of consistency, paired with his gift, is going to contribute to a breakout year for Cruz, in my opinion.”
“There is no ceiling for Bloody Candy as a brand and myself as an artist. I’m excited!” - De La Cruz
